Who we are
This site belongs to TD Builders, 1 Gordon Close, Attenborough, Nottingham NG9 6AP. For anything about your data, ring 07539 838755 or email tomdoubleday@gmail.com.
What the form collects
The contact form asks for your name, phone number, an optional email address, and a description of the job. That is all it collects, and it is all sent to Tom by email so he can get back to you about the work.
The legal basis is legitimate interest: you asked a builder to contact you about a job, so he contacts you about the job. Nothing is used for marketing, nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to anybody else.
How long it is kept
The enquiry sits in the email inbox. Enquiries that turn into work are kept as long as the business records for that job need to be kept. Enquiries that do not are deleted when they are no longer useful. Ask and it will be deleted sooner.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and embeds no videos or maps. The only thing it loads from anybody else's server is the spam check on the contact form, described below, and that sets no cookie either. There is no consent banner because there is nothing that tracks you to consent to.
The spam check on the contact form
The contact form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether it is a person filling the form in or an automated bot. It only runs on the contact page; the rest of the site loads nothing from anyone else.
To do that check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some details about your browser. It is used to tell a person from a bot and nothing else: it does not track you across sites and it sets no advertising cookie.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-term server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, the same as any web host. The content of your message is never written to a log.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Ring or email and it will be dealt with. If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
