Most brickwork calls are not a whole wall. They are one lintel, one opening, or the mess left behind by something that got taken out.
Lintels are the common one. Older houses often have timber lintels above windows and doors, and when the timber fails the brickwork above it starts to drop. Replacing it means supporting the wall above, cutting the old one out, setting the new one in and rebuilding the brickwork over it so you cannot see where it went.
Bricking up a door or a window is straightforward work that is very easy to get visibly wrong. The whole job is the match: the same brick, the same bond, the same mortar colour and the same joint. Done right you walk past it and do not notice.
We also form new openings, make good after a bay or a garage door comes out, and tidy up brickwork that another trade has left rough.
What you end up with. Repairs you have to be told about to find, rather than a patch that catches your eye whenever you pull onto the drive.

Tom came out to fit a new lintel for me as the previous one was wood, had failed and I was worried about the brickwork dropping. New lintel fitted, and surrounding brickwork supported. Tom explained what he was doing, was knowledgeable and advised he was using lime mortar to match the current mortar as standard products could corrode the existing work. Pleased with the work. Tom bricked up an outside door and matched the bricks perfectly. Walked past it and couldn’t tell it had been bricked up. Cleaned up and left it tidy. Tom also came early and left when the job was done, which was late. Would definitely use, and recommend Tom.
