Garden and Boundary Walls in Attenborough and Nottingham
A garden wall is holding back soil, weather and next door. When it starts leaning, the fix is usually the footing, not the bricks.
We build new garden and boundary walls and rebuild ones that have gone. Where a wall is leaning, bulging or has dropped at one end, the cause is normally underneath it: a footing that was never deep enough, or ground that has moved. Rebuilding the top course onto a bad footing buys a couple of years and no more.
Walls that retain ground need to be built for it, with the right thickness, drainage behind, and movement joints where the run is long. A retaining wall built like a decorative one will push over.
Copings and cappings go on properly bedded, because that is where water gets into a wall first.
What you end up with. A wall that stays where you built it, with a top that keeps the rain out of it.

Tom is very efficient, pleasant and reliable. He did a good job building my garden wall and other repairs. Tom turned up when he said he would, did what he said he would and did it well and for a good price. I would highly recommend Tom.

Tom and his team rebuilt my garden wall. His communication was excellent, I never waited very long for a response. His work was very neat and tidy and our new wall looks fantastic. Highly recommend TD Builders and will be working with Tom again in future.
